Os Testamentos dos Doze Patriarcas, é um livro apócrifo bíblico pseudoepigráfico, intertestamentário, que se refere a discursos e recomendações atribuídas aos doze filhos de Jacó, antes de morrerem. Figurou em códices e listas do Cânon da Bíblia da Igreja Apostólica da Armênia, pelo menos até o século XIV. Foram introduzidos no Ocidente no Séc XIII, através da tradução latina de Robert Grosseteste, bispo de Lincoln, que se tornou imediatamente popular, acreditando ser uma verdadeira obra dos doze filhos de Jacó, e que as interpolações cristãs eram um produto genuíno da profecia judaica; ele acusou os judeus de esconder os Testamentos "por conta das profecias do Salvador contidas neles." Fragmentos de escritos semelhantes foram encontrados mais tarde em Qumran.

The Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs is an apocryphal book pseudepigraphic biblical, intertestamental, which refers to speeches and recommendations assigned to the twelve sons of Jacob, before they die. Figured in codices and lists of the canon of the Bible of the Armenian Apostolic Church, at least until the fourteenth century. Were introduced in the West in the thirteenth century, through the Latin translation of Robert Grosseteste, Bishop of Lincoln, who became instantly popular, believing it to be a true work of the twelve sons of Jacob, and that the Christian interpolations were a genuine product of Jewish prophecy; he accused Jews of concealing the Testaments "on account of the prophecies of the Saviour contained in them." Fragments of similar writings were later found at Qumran.
